Fundraisers and Committees

Throughout the year, SE FSA runs and participates in a host of fundraisers. Volunteers’ efforts raise money that cover costs including improved technology, beautification of South End’s grounds, recorders, Scholastic magazines, additional supplies, and much more. If you're interested in volunteering or contributing in any way, please email us at southendfsa@gmail.com or using the button at the top right.

The following are just a few of the fundraisers and committees in the works for the upcoming school year.

Box Tops and Labels for Education: It's never too late to start collecting your Box Tops and Labels for Education! This is a quick and easy way to help South End earn extra money. Past efforts have resulted in new playground balls and other fun, useful "extras" for the students. Box Tops and Labels for Education can be submitted in a Ziplock-style bag in your child's folder anytime, or you can hang onto them until the twice-yearly contest, where top earners win prizes! (The next collection will be in the spring.) Chairperson: Marta Luisi

Class Parents: Class parent duties include collecting FSA and class dues, coordination of and participation in classroom parties, chaperoning class trips, and communicating with parents as necessary. In order to be considered, completion of the fingerprinting background check process is required. Class parents are chosen through a lottery system, however priority is given to those who have not served in the past. Chairperson: Patty D’Angelo

Clothes for Cash: Clean out your closet and earn $$ for South End! Next sale in the spring! Chairperson: Marta Luisi

KidStuff Coupon Books: South End School earns 50% of the money brought in by this fundraiser. Chairperson: Ami Dow

School Pictures: South End School earns a percentage of all packages ordered. Chairperson: Patty D’Angelo

Holiday Shop: Every December, students get the opportunity to purchase reasonably priced items for family and friends at the holiday shop. Details and volunteering opportunities will be posted well in advance of the event. Chairpersons: Jenn Masotti Cubeta and Dani Scannella

Lunch: Committee distributes lunch to students who order on Mondays and Fridays, starting October 7. Chairpersons: Jenn Masotti Cubeta and Dani Scannella

Plant Sale, May 8, 2020: Details and volunteering opportunities to be announced. Chairperson: Jenn Masotti Cubeta
